My Testimony as a Heart Attack Survivor by Paula Upshaw
In September 1991, at the young age of 34, I was a married mother of three young boys working as a respiratory therapist. It was on a Saturday morning as I was sitting on the top bleacher watching my nine year old son play football. My husband, James, and other two sons were out on the field.

Thanks so very much for posting this because this was a classic heart attack with all the symptoms, but because of Paula's gender she was brushed off and sent home. She could have died at 34 years old, but thankfully she is still her to tell her testimony! Praise God. I'm going to print this and share it with my colleagues in the CCU and on the Cardiology Ward.
