It's really serious. What if someone had eaten the melons and it exploded inside of them? Now that would have been serious~Ha! I heard the farmers had to wear helmets and goggles because of the hazardous explosions. ((Lol))

@IR Nope! It's no joke and guess what?...Those chemical grown fruits are sold right here in the good ole USA... See that on your fruit shelf!

Irma Girl! Don't scorn me too much, I surely didn't post the prayer....I'll have to e-mail you on that! I think I may need some your advice on something too. It's nothing bad, but you'll hear from me soon.

AS far as fresh fruits, we do have our farmer's market which is grown locally without uses of chemicals growth additives. It's a bit uncertain where those fruits from China go, but you'd think they should be labeled grown in China and if they've been treated with growth hormones. People do want to know what they're eating!! It's so much greed..food, money, politics , and power and control. Wrong is wrong no matter how and where you grow it!!

MIISRAEL, when I saw this story the other day at first I thought it was a joke. HOw sad, but I bet the little ones get a kick out of this as they are far too young to know how serious this is. lol (smile)

It is time to get our president and his administration back where the Bush administration left off with America could not afford inspectors of our foods coming into our country...and, once again it is not even worth making news on our biggest educator of all cable news networks..."I" WONDER WHY?!? i DO HOPE MOST OF YOU ARE AS LUCKY AS WE ARE HERE AND HAVE WEEKLY FRESH FOOD MARKETS IN YOUR TOWNS, CITIES...WE HAVE SOME THAT SELL RIGHT WHERE THEY GROW THE FRUITS AND VEGS AND NUTS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND ALONG OUR INTERSTATES BY PASS' (SMILE)

wHAT really gets to me is this is all about pure greed at the top which mostly those who grew these melons will be forced to take the loss of their crops! yet it is all boiling down to politics and not human care or concern for these innocent families that will be the onlyones to suffer long term. they are already being blamed for using the product wrong...like our children used those lead filled toys "wrong"?!? (nup!!!!!)
