Beauty is an elusive idea. I understand the thrust of this video, but there is more than meets the eye. In addition to the obvious historical factors there is the fact our society revolves around Hollywood and the other media dealing with beauty, and of course advertising. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but is it not more so in the eye of the beholden? I would tell each of the women here, any woman with self doubts like these, imposed from without by others, to rest assured she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

I can't hear the documentary at the moment, but I would say that I agree with Brother Steve. People need to spend less time watching Hollywood and what they are doing in Tinsel Town because its all a facade. I feel good about who I am and where I've come from but more importantly about what I'm becoming daily. My people need to understand their beauty and the long line of beautiful people that we've come from. Once we do that then we can stand tall among others on the planet.
