MEDITATE SUNDAY: REMEMBERING WITHOUT HURTING
Meditation to remember can only be fondly met with less grief and pain when you can give up dwelling hurt you are carrying... and let go. "Let go and let God" is a wonderful group of words to give you strength to face a new day of remembering the joy that God has granted you in the term of life with your passed love one. No, it may not be all easy to let go at first, but the hurt cannot continue to keep you down and depressed. You must have a closure to let go of the hurt, loneliness and the depression. God is alive with all his wonderful Spirit of Love to give you. Don't refuse to meditate on his healing in your remembering so that you know all things we cannot control, but love is freely expanded to cover a multitude of your pain.
"Walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us,
and hath given himself for us an offering
and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling
savour."
[Ephesians: 5:2]
"I am crucified with Christ;
nevertheless I live;
yet not I but Christ liveth in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith of the Son of God, who
loved me, and gave himself for me."
[Galatians: 2:20]
Love is your joy!!..remembering the joy with meditation can bring your heart so that you can remember your love ones without hurting, but the life and love of new found rejoicing!!
"Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O' Lord my strength and my redeemer.
[Psalm: 19:14]

[No, it may not be all easy to let go at first, but the hurt cannot continue to keep you down and depressed.]
Miisrael,
You are so correct in saying this. My God the hardest fight of my life was when I was disappointed by fellow church members whom I had trusted to be my " church family and fellow believers in the Body of Christ" some years ago. It's not easy to get back on track in our own strength, but With God's Strength it is possible. Having faith in God is what helped me through that awefully difficult time in my life and has colored my present interactions with people and especially church folk. (smiles)
