@ Sister Irma,
Whew.... (wiping the sweat from my brow)!
@ Saint,
I think you have a point, because nursing instructors make several hundreds of dollars less than the potential nurses to be they train. There will always be something, eh? One thing's for sure is that we have to have nursing instructors to train future nurses. Do you have any suggestions on how the Federal govt. can go about doing this except raise nursing instructor's salaries?
Hello to All,
This Kenya woman ought to be ashamed of herself not to invest in her country, people and herself that she would rather help improve another country and people.
All intelligent people invest in themselves rather than migrating and immigrating to other countries that a more developed than their own.
When you don't invest in your country, people and your self you will always be an undeveloped or a Third World country, am I right.
When Black Americans becomes a sovereign country we will not invest our talents and skills in other countries for the sake of money no matter how hard we have it in our own country improving the standards of our living. We will toil until we make it to the top!
What say you?
A lot of people come from African countries, especially Nigeria, to live and work in South London, and send money home every week or month. So they are still investing in their own countries and home communities.

@ Sister Zhana,
Don't mind Harry. He's always trying to spark conversation so that he can go back to his talking points and get on his soap box about being a prophet... Yada Yada Yada!
@ Saint,
I love that idea regarding highschoolers doing clinical rotations and there should also be incentives for students to pursue careers as Nursing Professors. Many don't take that path because the pay is low for the amount of education required (Master's degree). Even nurses with ordinary Diploma, Bachelor's degree make more than these salaried Nursing Professors (it just makes no financial sense to go that path unless one has a passion for teaching).
@ Harry,

furthermore, don't test me because I'd love to start using the "block user" option out on you.
@Jen, I believe this is just great as the world is getting smaller and in much need of direct cultural, educational and economical exchanges like this. example, I heard a few days ago the many of our graduating students are going to China for work.
Sort of like a 21st century Peace Corps. (smile)
nOT TO WORRY it was engineering and business majors putting in job applications in China. lol (smile)
Not to worry about this either as many and I believe most teachers, teach for the love of the teaching profession it self...and, I say this because I doubt if any amount of money could every pay for their worth as teachers...
A teacher is much like the mom whose work is never done day / night day in and day out. (smile)
AND, COME TO THINK OF IT WHY DON'T WE MAKE A TEACHER'S DAY OR MONTH AND SEND CARDS TO OUR FORMER FAVORITE TEACHERS TO SAY THANKS. (SMILE)

What was the area of employment they were going to China to work? I hope it wasn't Nursing! We need Nurses here in the United States, not leaving going abroad. ((giggling))
