NOW HOSTING M.S.N.B.C. "THE ED SHOW"--REV. AL SHARPTON!!!

MSNBC, June 2, 2011--For a second, it seemed like our TV might have to be adjusted, but that really was Al Sharpton filling in for Ed Schultz on Thursday night.

Sharpton has been an increasingly frequent guest on Schultz's show, but it was still slightly odd to see him sitting behind a desk, reading items about Sarah Palin off the teleprompter. (Schultz is serving out a suspension, thanks to his comments about Laura Ingraham.) Sharpton seemed a little stiff at times but mostly acquitted himself capably. Here he gives Anthony Weiner some advice about handling public controversy (since, as he pointed out, he has some experience in that area).

I watched all the segments of his show, and I have to say he is the best I've seen in a long time. I hope we get to see more of him. Thanks Rich.

Rich and Steve, I am sure that MSNBC is all of the Conservative media's living, waking nightmare...ubt as pay back is a bitc_, I believe taht MSNBC is just getting started. And, I say this as after my surprise at Micheal Steele signing up with them so he can at least act like he can think for himself (almost) beyond the right-wing's 'talking points' I now expect taht that guest hosting on the Ed Show that FOX can not stop talking about his supension could be a warnign about Rev. Al Sharpton will soon be coming on board???? (rotfl) (smile)

I personally believe the Golden Voiced man is still a member of the staff of MSNBC. (smile)
