UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN U.S. ROSE TO 9.1%

Day 8
Figures from the May unemployment rate shows growth in the "declining figures" when it came to finding jobs and new hires. Most experts thought there would be an increase for the unemployed, but instead there was a rise of lesser jobs being created in the business markets for new workers. These figures show a weak labour market with 64.2% of the labour participation rate. Finance experts quote that this is the "worst recession since WWII' as far a employment is concerned. President Obama expressed in a recent news conference that he was hoping for the job market to move a little faster, but hasn't given up that eventually the workfoce will have an increase of jobs. He's urging America not to panic. One report indicated that at least 14 million people are without jobs.

The jobs are posted, but employers are not hiring in order to cut corners having their current employees to do more or to work short staff (at least that seems to be the trend in my hospital and in other area hospitals). Hopefully President Obama's administration can encourage employers to hire even if its part time jobs or temp work. Something would be better than nothing. Just curious, what is the blog pic of ?
