As most know I live near Beale Airforce base and as our military never go to war without sending the Airforce
in first and as Wolf blitzer is talking about u s in Yemen, I would like to share this small article in my local paper about Beale (also a atraining for jet pilot's base)... NEW AIRCRAFT ARRIVE TODAY.Three of five of Beale Air force Base's newest aircraft are expected to arrive at the base this afternoon, according to Beales's public aiffairs office.
The MC-12W planes are sheduled to arrive at the base in the late afternoon. The medium altitude, twin engine, turboprop aircraft is assigned to the 9th Reconnaissance Wing at the base. The crew of each plane consists of two pilots, a sensor operator and cryplogic operator.
The plane's pirmary misson is to provide intellegence, surveillance and reconnaissance support to ground troops.

Part of the training of pilots called 'touch and go' is now being practiced after many years of taht noise from thisform of training running you crazy...day and night!!!
Touch and go is when a jet fighter comes in for a landing but only skirts the ground and take straight off all done at top speed...does this cause a lot of airplanes to crash...yep ,but not often and theonly way you will in the public know this is you have learned the spicific signs of the smoke coming from these crashes. I live so close to the plane flight line i can stand out side and watch the whole things.
