U.S. GANGS ON INCREASE IN LARGER CITIES

The newest report from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention releases that there is an estimated 28,100 existing gangs in the United States which includes 731,00. During White House conference United States Attorney General, Eric Holder gave the staggering information about prevelant rates of gangs and their growth in activity. Mr. Holder noted that in the late 1990's gang activity declined based on a gang survey but a sudden upturn begin in 2001 and continuining through 2005 but leveled off. The survey also noted that larger cities showed increases in gang activities during 2005 to 2009. Data from gang activity is annually collected from local law enforcement agencies.
Always do what you can offering advice and giving the best advice to help our youth...to steer them away from gangs. That youth is as close as your neighbor.
