Do Tax Cuts INCREASE the amount of money the government receives in taxes? This proposition is now a Republican article of faith.

Here Lawrence O'Donnell interviews Bruce Bartlett, economic analyst in the Reagan White House and Assistant Treasury Secretary for the first President Bush debunks the popular "Tax Cuts Pay for Themselves" myth.

Voters need to know this as congress debates the future of our economic policy and reducing the debt.

These Republican ideas are nonsense according to an army of even Republican economists.
