JON STEWART: A SCANDAL MADE FOR CABLE NEWS...AND FOX WON'T DUMPSTER DIVE!

July 19, 2011--Jon Stewart on Tuesday did what he does best: poke fun at Fox News.

Responding to Fox's condemnation of the media "piling on" the News Corp. phone-hacking scandal, Stewart said the company's properties like Fox News and the New York Post are really just missing a valuable opportunity.

"A story tailor made for the 24 hour news cycle--scandal, bribery, celebrities, death. But one network has been reticent to dumpster dive into any aspect of the story--other than to express sheer disappointment at their competitors behavior."

"I know what the problem is," Stewart said. "You're jealous. As a News Corp property, you're not upset that your rivaled standards have been corrupted by your own conflict-driven, scandal-boner ethic. You're upset that they get to have all the fun while you've got to sit on your hands. This scandal was made for you guys."

"These are priceless puns!" Stewart added, suggesting such pithy headlines as "News Corpse!" "Aussie And Harridan!" and "Ginger Snaps!"

oNLY Fox can be able to complain about something without actually saying what it is they are complaining about...but when they ae at a lost for talking points as well as talking heads on their being the latest running joke, then where does on go??? lol (smile)

Rich, Rich, Rich did you watch my girl tonight???? All I could think about was coming on and doing a blog called, "THE MORE THINGS CHANGE THE MORE THEY REMAIN THE SAME" in her Moment Of Geek showing Ross P. was about teh time taht my mother in law and her union in yuba city, ca. were on strike for getting their pay at the Delmonty cannery here for getting up to $8.oo and hour and Delmoney just up and closed its doors and went south for no uniions....and since this worked so well and the politicians got even more pay CEOs greater $$$$$millions in bonus monies to do this but to do it better by sending jobs out of the country altogather and we still seem to not be getting this...dispite those peoople still out of work from this and now that they can't out source jobs like your teaching jobs, they will now cut your pay down to anything but security of home and getting your next meal...

sometimes I can only wonder why we don't just beg the president to let us default as we need something to remove these blinders off that we can do harm as long as we come in the name of God and skin color as our lead defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH WELL, JUST VENTING AGAIN AND THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO DO SO...ANY THING LEFT IS TO JUST SAY TOHELL WITH THIS NATION AS WE HAVE NO MORALS ANY MORE...AND, ESPECIALLY IF IT COMES WITH TRUTHS ATTACHED TO IT...(NUP)
