African American know a lot about what happened after our enslavement, in general, except maybe the last generation or so.
What we really don't know is about what we were doing before our enslavement. We were robbed of our great accomplishments.
It's not that the knowledge doesn't exist. It's just that is was hidden from us for obvious reasons. The enslavers wanted to make a different kind of creation. A 3/5's human. Have to ever heard of that before. It is somewhere in the Constitution if I'm not mistaken. Can you believe that?
Part of the slave process was to put us through a process of dehumanizing us to where we even believed that we were less than all other humans on the planet. Now just before that we were bring them up out of their Dark Ages. The thanks we got for that was chattel bondage.
