Many in New Orleans will never forget as the entire city was in altered states and Katrina soared flooding waters and tons of rain which completely destoryed leeves that protected the New Orleans city walls. Many perished and were left days without assistance or aid. Today it's six years later and still many neighborhoods are in ghost like states even though the city's has had substantial recovery. New Orleans has since then celebrated Mardi Gras and has tried to heal from Katrina's devasting storm.
