The epitome of Women Tennis Venus Williams decided abruptly to pull out of the U.S. Open Tennis competetion on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 caused by her recent illiness. Venus has been diagnosed with an auto immune disease called Sjogren's Syndrome. Venus noted that she really wanted to continue but just wasn't able to. A report about Sjogern's disease stated it plagues over 4 million Americans. The person's white blood cells attacks moisture producing glands which causes dry eye, or dry mouth. In many causes it can cause arthritis or joint pain. Venus is known world wide among tennis fans and is the winner of 7 Grand Slam titles. Venus did not indicate how soon she may return to play at this present time.
