A new world report issued that 40% percent of all the world's frogs are in danger of extinction. This report is according to the Smithsoian Institute. Converationists claim the large disappearance is being called by pollution, pesticides, climate changes and a fungus. The Smithsonian has began steps to help save the dying species of amphibians. Scientist have reported that at least 120 species of frogshave vanished over the past 20 years, which most contacted a disease known as Chytrid fungus. Since there is great difficulty in keeping frogs in captivity scientists are at a challenge to save many of them. However, some golden groms from Panama are being kept alive many species may still still perish before any full rescue measures reach them. Frogs are important to the ecology of the earth because the eat many insests such as flies and mosquitoes and many frogs skins are used in medical breakthroughs. They are truly an assest to the balance of nature and life staining balance of the earth.

"If you see or hear a frog croaking...remember that sound could one day all disappear." We must keep our eye on the frogs huh?
