The trial of Conrad Murray began in sessions delivering a slurred and engrossing recording of Michael Jackson's slurred speaking. In addition, there was another part of evidence displaying Jackson lying on a gurney. Dr. Conrad Murray has been accused of the causing the death of Jackson in June 2009 by administering the anithesia drug propfol. Defense claims that Jackson admintered more of the drug which caused his death while Dr. Murray was in the bathroom. The high profile trial first day distrubed many fans and supporters of Jackson in hearing his somewhat gruesome voice, and seeing his body in such an invalid position on the gurney. Jackon's family showed up with his mother, father and his sisters and brothers. Dr. Murray is facing a manslaughter charge which if convicted he will serve at least a 4 year prison term. The voice recorded of Jackson was played with these words:
We have to be phenomenal. When people leave this show, when people leave my show, I want them to say, ‘I’ve never seen nothing like this in my life. Go. Go. I’ve never seen nothing like this. Go. It’s amazing. He’s the greatest entertainer in the world.’” At one time Dr. Murray was seen wiping tears from his eyes. Murray was receiving $150,000 salary as Jackson's physician.

Butterfly.. I haven't been keeping up with the trial since I wrote this blog, but what I saw the first day really troubled me. I feel more details will come out of what happened that day may surface when or; if it is finally disclosed, or at least some actions may not be a favorable showing for either the Dr. or MJ. Much I think will remain a mystery. I hope the best though...

Quite shocking to discover these skeletons about my beloved MJ. He was self medicating his pain. So many people do that when they know how to deal with their pain... they self medicate themselves. I was watching the Mary J Blige documentary yesterday with her talking about the same thing... self medicating so that she could numb her pain. Celebrities have problems, too.

@JF ..So many times we think like celebrities are not human people. They do suffer with trials, and being rich or famous doesn't make their problems disappear. They deal with drugs often as their escapes, and many times the hold on them is with deep emotional and physical complications even in their deaths. I know MJ wasn't without bumps in his journey. We want to overlook an err of his ways, but even so; we do have the acknowlegement he was not without them. He touched many with his talents-- and I will consentrate on this part of his life achievements for they are still great! LU MJ.
