This is such a bizarre case and as my grandma says, " Something in the milk ain't clean and the cow knows about it." One more thing she says is, " It (the dirt) will all come out in the wash."
Here's what I think. The mom has been having an affair with the neighbor's husband and as a result of which, baby Lisa was conceived from an adulterous affair. Either the husband, the neighbor's wife, or both of them know where baby Lisa is at.
Southerners would refer to the mother of Baby Lisa as "trailor park trash". ... A lady doesn't get drunk.
