MEDITATE SUNDAY: PREPARING
Any worship of meditation service will require some kind of preparation for a spiritual enhancement. If you are able to-- you can have a space ready in your home or favorite chair. You must realize that a strong meditation requires very little. A purest heart and a voice of inner spirit are the real main essentials. However, to broaden the view of a meditation’s eye you may add your bible, candles, incense and special gifts of things you like to keep you focused on God’s Spirit. Use gentle humming sounds of psalms; or a light touch of soft music to set your mood. Have your focus to be prepared to deep meditation of God’s presence among your body and spirit that you may apply a most honest meditation.. Otherwise, don’t be futile with apparatus that mean nothing! Be of true service and true words you’ll pray, praise and give in thanksgiving. As your mediation is prepared be also prepared to see our Lord’s return.
“I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter things which have been
kept secret from the foundations of the world.
Psalms: 78:2
“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings
thou hast perfected praise?”
Psalm 8:2
Prepare your meditation to be pleasing always to the Lord, and not yourself. This is truly the meditation which God seeks from within you.
“Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O’ Lord my strength and my redeemer. Psalm: 19:14
HAVE A BLESSED

Praise God and thank you for your blog on meditation. I've not done much with preparing a place for meditation to make it personal as I did when I was single. I remember burning candles and incenses while meditatin in the past and you want to know something... it sets a mood for the Holy Spirit to manifest Himself and speak to the hearts of His people. How sweet it is. Funny how, we soon forget. Thanks for this blog and reminder.
