So Students Riot. (Why?) As a victim of molestation as a child, I can't for the life of me understand why people are upset over Joe being fired. If he had done more to have the allegations against his assistant coach's indiscretions investigated, then perhaps an end could have come before more children were s*xually abused. It's good that he's been fired. How could he live with himself knowing that there was a possibility that his asst coach was commiting crimes against children? It's not enough to report an allegation, but one must follow up to make sure children are protected from predators.

Spanier and Paterno Are Out at Penn State

Graham B. Spanier, one of longest-serving and highest-paid university presidents in the nation, who has helped raise the academic profile of Penn State during his tenure, stepped down Wednesday night after a s*xual-abuse scandal involving a prominent former assistant football coach and the school’s failure to act to halt further harm.

Spanier’s departure came as the university’s Board of Trustees also ended the 84-year-old Joe Paterno’s career, denying him his wish to finish out the season, his 46th as head coach and his 62nd over all at the school.

Tom Bradley, longtime defensive coordinator, will become the interim coach starting on Saturday’s game, and Rodney Erickson, Penn State provost, will replace Spanier as interim president.

"I" believe it would go a long way if during those long sermon lectures and political campaign rallies on 'consenting' same s*x adults having s*x as being a sin, morally illegal...

maybe adding nonconsenting children and adults of the same s*x is a sin, morally illegal may help?!?...

JUST THINKING. (SMILE/ NUP)
