advice it you would / would not take part in a class action law suite like this.The whole story can be found in my local paper's web @www.appeal democrat.co.The article is ' I FEEL REAL VIOLATED', Thieves may have endangered SUTTER nORTH data. Yuba-Sutter residents are conceerned and a little angry- that personal information may have been compromised in a data theft from Sutter Health.
This information should have beenencrypted, but they say they were going to do this. They should have notified us when it happened, but they waited a month to write us letters to tell us about this having been done.
This is being deemed neglect and the law suit is asking for $1,000 in damages and lawyer fees being paid. (nup / smile)

Mom I have never taken part in a class action lawsuit before...however is this a local/neighborhood/community issue??? If so then perhaps you should notify your local city councilperson about the matter and/or your local bank before taking action...
This is why I do not engage in online banking, I prefer to doing transactions the old-school way...
