NATURE OF THE TEMPTER

NATURE OF THE TEMPTER

Steven Miller · Friday, December 2nd 2011 at 5:35PM · 464 views
Now the serpent became Satan; in his own rite
Was once an angel whose exuberance gleamed bright
Revered above all angels in the heavens and the skies
Just another creation of the Great Master, yet envious and unsatisfied
At his status in the realm of all celestial beings
Had his eyes set on the Great Master’s Throne and all of God’s THINGS
With thoughts of a conquest, Satan gathered his horde
Fore with to rebel against his maker, The Great Creator, “Our Lord”
Satan convinced a group of angels in his diabolical plan
To over throw God’s angels and seize Heavenly Lands
A war was fought in Heaven, a battle almost lost
Satan was merciless in his divinity’s quest to win at any cost
Word went out to the Master as to the Tempter’s demonic scene
“Oh My God, the battle waxes sore, Please O Please intervene
Satan has amassed an army of likeminded angels with great force
Slashing and thrashing good angles, showing no remorse
Evil has found its way into Heaven in guise of a Supreme Being
Angels running amuck, some dying other good angles fleeing
From the Angel of Morning and his Klan”
All of this happened long before God created man
Satan and his horde rummaged through the minds of angels and spirits alike
With promises of divinities above that of the Great Master’s Might
Envy, lust, gluttony and wrath were thrust into heaven’s realm
Followed by greed, sloth and pride with Lucifer at the helm
God, the creator, caught wind of Satan’s betrayal
Michael was sent down to stifle this upheaval
Lucifer, one fourth of God’s Top Four
Disenchanted with the Creator, continued to war
Against Michael, The Mighty, God’s right hand man
Sent down to dispel the Dragon’s master plan
Lucifer was no match for the power of “Mike”
Satan’s conquest was squelched, he lost the fight
The brightness of God’s angel was extinguished and dimmed
The devil was cursed, heaved out for committing Heaven’s first sin
Lucifer lost his bright nature, beauty and exuberance
Thrust down to earth, where he’s been ever since
The Angel of Light, once, one of God’s Top Four
Diminished to the darkness of the earth’s core
God, the merciful, could have ended Satan’s life
Instead, Satan, was sentenced to the darkness of hard labor and strife
