This is a very serious matter that should be weighed from all directions of the political and capitalistic spectrum of this "system." The first impression is the one that last... Unfortunately, B.H.O. only gave his voters a ton of rhetoric which can be deemed as synonymous with the campaign rhetoric of politicians since democracy began. The problem with politicians is they never tell the people that what they claim they're going to do is merely a "proposal" that has to be approved by a congressional body that can be deemed as "biased" in many attributes. In other words, they talk the talk but it's up to congress to allow them to walk the walk and this is never explained to the audience. Deception plays a central role in the political landscape, and in order for the people to truly see "change we can believe in," as to what BHO campaigned on, WE have to stand up and demand change. At least Obama mentioned that CHANGE starts from the bottom up. Did most of his listeners "get it?" However, as to your question, in my opine, he's worthy but it all goes back to congress' position towards that word and from there such a word clearly applies to the people. It's really a question of "are the people worthy enough, to bring change?" The real power is in the minds of the masses. Apparently most have been indoctrinated to go along to get along. PEACE

I hear your point.. However, as we know, history is a direct reflection of what's before us at this very moment. That said, I recently learned that the NAACP is in the process of determining whether to file a complaint with the UN (if that means anything), pursuant to the new voter qualification rules being imposed by a number of states that have strong AA numbers on the voter registration roles. The Florida debacle (11-2000), adds a tremendous amount of revealing weight to the latter & further asks the question: "Are we looking at a repeat of history, but only in a different way?" In my view, we are..

Until we wake-up and establish our own political party ( call it: The Black Reparations Party) we'll continue to be passengers on a bus driven by the invisible man, without a steering wheel. PEACE

Thank you so much for your inspirational words of wisdom on the subject that has plagued us from the first day our ancestors were physically forced, against their will, to this part of the world. I tell my daughter, and young people in general, that we must never forget what our ancestors went through because they're the reason, through THE POWER OF GOD, that we're here today.

WE have an extremely strong argument for REPARATIONS (in some form or another) which is why B.H.O. was asked that question several times by "mainstream MEDIA reporters" during his campaign. So far all we've gotten is a "whispered apology" formerly approved by congress for all of the horrors and gross inhumane treatment our ancestors were subjected to during slavery and the era of Jim Crow. I say "whispered apology" because after CNN ran the story in June 2009, less than 6 months after the inauguration of B.H.O., such a SERIOUS MATTER was immediately swept under the rug! In my view, when you CONNECT THE DOTS, the timing of such an APOLOGY was a plan orchestrated in advance of November of 2008. And when we further CONNECT THE DOTS and consider that WE are No. 1 on the unemployment, incarceration and homeless roles, according to our proportion of the overall population, (as the Honorable Dr. MLK would say) in some sense, WE can view the timing of such an "apology" as being another part of a systemic conspiracy.

tHIS BLOG IS more "Food for Thought" than anything else/ a heads up that you will be seeing not one religious leader representing our people , but religious learers chosen for their being religious leader taht for politics as usual...a lot like we now see black female and male anchors (but not yet on the acceptance of teh conservative media...but this is change for us to those still waiting for someone to make change for us in America.( just more of conservative teachings of the powers that be in America's pity party). lol (smile)

Mike the National NAACP is different than the branches of the local NAACP...they start at th etop say like the supreme court(again why the nation still believe rosa Parks was tired so she would not give up her seat...the left out her ties with the NAACP and it trying to get a case in the supreme court...tis is why the US attorney general brought in the troops to go against aht governor in Arkansa, and they wer suprised the NAACP did ot sop there...our people were too mad by thn so it had to go all the way...now all that work, effort, lost lives ahd laws like affirmative -actions, voting, ect. are all gone...

Wright than he would be able to turn against the Black community and he had left his church to protect the jobs of his friends in the church as well as their jobs from the reporters...I am from the deep south and I promise you that even "I" have not faced the discrimination taht Rev. wright was able to help both Oprah and Obama to be able to over come...unlike Oprah, I have not been s*xually abused by male members in the faimly that my mothe rcould find to take care of me for 'the time being'...unlike Obama my grandmother could love me for me and not love me out of first putting a condition on ignoring my skin color...and, God kknows the suffering his mother mus have gone through for her to try to get away from not just her family, but her race!!! This program was to prove we brought our need to go to prison from africa and tis is why our blackmales can not get fully educated and dropp out because of the 'bad ' grades they get...

now wha tmost missed in this was the African youth whose father is in prison that the narrator asked how he was doing in school, and he said he was doing fine...she made sure she told him up front how blacks lie when they don't have to do so by telling the youth you know you are not doing at all well in school!!!!!!! we miss this but not miss one beat that teaches us our president is lousy at his job...did you hear these things by the right or th eleft about Bush and he was a proven blooming idiot in and out of ofice and school...rush limbaugh just today was on fox saying our president will not show his grades because ll are fake...see how we allowed affeirmative-actions get us to a longrunning pity party to thi day...there are colleges who will allow you in due to affirmative action but nonwill keep you there as a flunking out student no matter how rich and famous you are...but again we can blame all but the need to teach us to be our own worst enemies. but, outside of BIA history African-Centered information you may not find what we are really doing but all but the black Educators are soing...today our college profesors are called Black leaders...

(please get it out of your mind that he did NOT, NOT choose the Black indetity...the easiest way to be able to get money to get into college to help with tutition is to be Black and poor...they have programs from payig $$$$$100s to do a project of your choosing to paying menium wage for you to study, do your home work and free tutoring...it is much like we say out here...they wer so intent on finding ways to keep us out of college they allowed the Orentials to come in and raise the grade point average so high the rich ect. students could not pass tests enough to keekp up the requires gap...tis had a lot to do with the republicans using a blackman (can't think of hi sname right now) to lead th eefforts to make A-A illegal in Ca...now he can't get the republicans to even recognize he exist and we go to the state fair each year to be able to feel good when he is hteir and can't even sell is books or even get invited on fox for an interview(next up Herman Cain)...he is now in what is called 'no man's land for forgetting what color his skin is...but at least he is not in prisonlike O.J. Wright should be feared and reject him as he is directly responsible for being th ementor of two of the most famous and richest and powerful Blacks on the planet...Oprah and Obama...hell if I was a racist I would hate himtoo...oh, and last election they forgot when they went after Wright to prove how dangerous black churches are they totally forgot those nonbuniss based mega-black churches like htose my grandmothe attended, but these very black churches are what have the federal government all up in arms over this voting bull...I odn't think I have ever seen so many black church pastors on tv...not one Dr. King, but followers o f the same Bible used by him to unite not devide by hate and fear...
