Actor Hill Harper Gets His ' Verses and Flow ' On
When you’re a black man with both a law degree and a master’s in public administration, you have a lot of employment options. But actor Hill Harper took a different path, heading to the big and small screens and then adding best-selling author to his resume.
For sure, Harper always keeps a gig. In addition to his role on “CSI: NY,” Harper is hosting “Verses and Flow,” a variety show on TV One. We thought we’d take a look at Harper’s many hustles and see exactly how this talented brother stays on top.

Harper is the host of the new half-hour variety show on TV One, which features a mix of musical and spoken word performers. Airing on Thursdays at 8 p.m., the shows have featured Angie Stone, David Banner, Tyrese, Estelle, Ledisi and Marsha Ambrosius. The series concludes its run on Thursday, Dec. 22.
