Is that like a rip tide? Anyway I'm glad that there was a happy ending.

I believe they are the same. The article said sea rip, but I think it refers to a rip tide. This happens when a one tide opposes another tide creating a disturbance in the water which approaches quickly and is carried back out to the sea or ocean. So the children were caught up in the rip and couldn't take control in their surroundings in order to swim because they were being carried off in a swift current from the rip of the wave.

I'm sure they were a bit ripped with fear! {Smiles}
They were all okay.
