Snow jam left 2,200 cars stranded on one of India's highways. Sources said that snowfall caused a hugh traffic tie-up of over the J&K highway. The highways services as one of the major road links between Kashmir valley. This left passengers and vehicles without any place to go since the road closure. However, the Border Road Organisation has road crews working to free up the long heavy traffic lines but not without immediate difficulty as more snowfall continued.
