SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BLACK WOMEN

Well known web search organization Google has announced it's Google Anita Borg Scholarships are now available for women who wish to apply. The scholarships are meant to encourage women who want to excel in technology and computing. In order to apply you must be a graduate or an undergraduate which will be chosen from an applicant pool. Women of color are encouraged to apply. All chosen applicants will be invited to attend Google Headquarters in Mountain View, CA with a working retreat with worshops and social activities. Scholarships will be in the amounts of $1000-10,000 dollars and awarded according to the candidates academics and grade performance. Deadline to apply is February 6, 2012.
