Oil prices soared to at least $105 dollars a barrell on Monday, February 20, 2012 as Iran said it halted crude exports to having being promted by escalating over Middle East nuclear programs. In it's result prices at the gas pumps all across the nation and globe will be effected with higher pump prices. Iran oil ministry said Sunday it stopped crude shipments in British and French companies involving emposed sanctions freezing bank assests. In addition some financial experts blames rising oil prices with growing tensions between Iran and the West.

Gas prices average in Memphis is about $3.49 a gallon. We haven't gotten to $4.00 yet...Last week it was around $3.55 and the week before $3.39. We hope we in Memphis won't make it to $4.00.
