BURNING THE QURAN IGNITES FIRE TO PROTESTS

Violent protests ignited after news spread that U.S. soldiers were throwing away and burning old copies of the Quran. Soliders claimed they did not know it would cause such a stir meekly apologized as with the United States Government Officials. However, it was not quite enough as the people of Afghanistan were ignited with anger taking their protests to the streets. Reports also indicated that at least 11 protestors were killed by police in a measure to regain order, and many injured. Protestors burned tires and threw rocks. The U.S. Embassy in Kabul went into lockdown as the anger still stirs over the burnng of the Holy Writings of the Quran. The Quran copies were part of the religious materials being removed from the library at a detainee center at Bagram Airfield because the materials had contained "extremist inscriptions" inside them or on them. The decision to burn them was defined as a mistake, and yet is seen as an insult to Afgahan Reglious or Muslims whom treasure the Quran as the absolute word of God. To correct the measure any future religious materials removed by any U.S. orders will be done in all respect will be handled correctly before any disposal; but never by burning. Any burning of the Quran is seen unforgivable and also bigotry.

Sûrat Al-Ahzâb

In the Name of Allâah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1. O Prophet Mohamed. Keep your duty to Allâah, and obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites (do not follow their advice). Verily, Allâah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.
2. And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. Verily, Allâah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.
3. And put your trust in Allâah, and Sufficient is Allâah as a Wakîl (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).
4. Allâah has not made for any man two hearts inside his body. Neither has He made your wives whom you declare to be like your mothers’ backs, your real mothers. Nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. But Allâah says the truth, and He guides to the (Right) Way.
5. Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers: that is more just with Allâah. But if you know not their father’s (names, call them) your brothers in faith and Mawâlîkum (your freed slaves). And there is no sin on you concerning that in which you made a mistake, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend. And Allâah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
6. The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves, and his wives are their (believers’) mothers (as regards respect and marriage). And blood relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allâah (regarding inheritance) than (the brotherhood of) the believers and the Muhâjirûn (emigrants from Makkah), except that you do kindness to those brothers. This has been written in Allâah’s Book of Divine Decrees - (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz)."
