If you're one to find yourself in London, England this summer and if you're one who's been keeping up the the summer olympics then you just might recognize Ibithai. If not? Then you will know that Ibithai has two firsts in her career as an olympic fencing champion and competition in that catagory. Ibithai is one of a first Black muslims woman to compete in women's fencing and the first to wear the hijab while performing in the competition. She is rated 2nd in U.S. and 13th in women's sabre a fencing style used in womens' competitions. Ibithai is a native of the United States and resides in Maplewood, California. The 25 year is picking up quite a reputation as she sharpens her fencing skills seeking to take home the gold from the olympic summer games. Look to hear more on her exclusive special skills more this summer. You may find yourself watching her take home some wins.
