Sign the Petition: Tell the F D A to Ban Lead in Lipstick

There is no safe level of lead exposure in lipstick. However, the FDA has continued to ignore the lead levels in lipsticks for years and has allowed lead-contaminated lipsticks to be sold nationwide!

Tell the FDA to Ban Lead in Lipsticks!»

Pregnant women and young children are particularly vulnerable to lead poisoning and its adverse effects. Without at least a warning label, women could be poisoning themselves and their children with something as simple as their lipstick.

The damage from lead shows up at all blood levels and is considered irreversible. There is absolutely no reason why the FDA should show such a lack of interest toward lead levels in lipstick.

It's time that the FDA take the lead levels in lipstick seriously! Tell the FDA: Zero is the ONLY Acceptable Lipstick Lead Level!»

Thanks for taking action!
