Leaping across the U.S.

Several states involving Illinois to Tennessesee were involved in at least 12 tornados leaping in bad weather. Storms ravenged towns uprooting trees, homes, power outages and lives. In one devasted town of Harrisburg, Ill at least 6 people have been reported killed by the tornado that leaped on the grounds destroying with winds rated at 100 miles per hour. The Governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn has caused the town to be called a disaster area and has planned for financial assistance for those affected by the terrible storm. At least 300 homes were torn down and 35 businessess also wiped away with down to trodding rubbles in the town of Harrisburg, IL is located about 100 miles from St. Louis, MO. In addition, to the deaths many as 100 plus suffered injuries and are being treated in area hospitals in St. Louis. In other leaps on Leap Day Branzon, MO which is a very popular tourist location was leaped with similar storm damages with tourist buildings heavily damaged. At least 3 persons were reported killed there. The tornados leaped also across the Midwest with reports still coming in of damages and power shortages. Since Leap Days only appear on the calendar year every four years, the one of 2012 will indeed remain one that really had a leaping effect of destruction.

My goodness, I heard about all the havock that was reaked over the south east. My heart felt prayer go out to the storm victims.

Prayers are needed indeed. More damaging storms came on Friday to Arkansas and Illinois. These are terrible storms and many people are left homeless even entire towns were wiped away. Bravely, they are trying to rebuild and move ahead. Such courage and faith they have.
