FOOD FOR THOUGHT: A DISCUSSION ON WORSHIP...WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?
One of the regular callers of the show posed another view that every language is from the world view of the people of that language.
My question is what does worship mean to you?
And how has the African Conscious person benefited, or been put at a disadvantage by being forced to think in the mind, language, of an oppressing force for 400 plus years?
Worship to me is to contemplate Allah in three places, (your actions, your saying and your heart) so that your contemplation may be complete. Worship Allaah as if you see Him and witness Him with the eye, and if you do not see Him then go to the next station below this: then indeed He sees you.
So the first station is to worship Him out of hope and desire. The next is to worship Him out of fear and awe...and if you do not see Him, then indeed He sees you.
