Chaka Khan leads celebs in Trayvon Martin tribute song

R&B legend Chaka Khan has recorded a tribute song and PSA in remembrance of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teenager whose death in a February shooting has sparked protests across the country. The PSA, a music video entitled “Super Life: Fear Kills, Love Heals,” is based on Khan’s 2007 song “Super Life” and features dozens of celebrities — all of whom wear hoodies in support of Martin — at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood. Watch the PSA below:Stars who participated in the PSA include Angela Bassett, Garcelle Beauvois, Terry Crews, Loretta Devine, Kimberly Elise, The X Factor’s Stacy Francis, Boris Kudjoe, Sharon Leal, Keke Palmer, Eva Pigford, Kelly Price and others. Other performers, including Common, Macy Gray and Talib Kweli, could not attend the shoot but sent in their own video contributions to the project.
