MASS NEW YORK CITY BRAWL: "That's a real war out there...every man for himself..."
NEW YORK CITY, April 8, 2012 -- An epic brawl took place at 3 p.m. this Saturday near the New York University campus in Manhattan: luckily no one got hurt.
For three hours, New York City's 7th annual pillow fight turned Manhattan's Washington Square Park into pillowy-soft chaos.
The NYC event was organized by a group called Newmindspace, who called for attendees to bring their bunny ears since it was Easter weekend.
“That’s real war out there,” Gioele Nunziatini, 24, told the New York Daily News. “No alliances, nothing. Just every man for himself.”
No casualties were reported, unless you count the Dora The Explorer and Pikachu pillows that did not survive the battle in Washington Square Park.
