But Tupac wasn't the only late rapper at Coachella last night. Another Death Row alum, Nate Dogg, made an appearance alongside his west coast homies too. However, the main attraction was the Snoop/Pac piece.
Following "Hail Mary," Snoop Dogg joined Tupac on the duo's 1996 collaborative joint, "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted." The "gangsta party" lasted nearly five minutes before Pac's hologram fizzled away. The performance, however, left a lasting impression.
"This is beautiful," says YouTube subscriber Thalia Lopez. "I cried, no shame.
"When he first appeared on the stage, I really thought Tupac came back and he had been in hiding for years," quipped The Chetron.
But not everyone was pleased.
"Somebody please shoot the Coachella Tupac hologram with a laser pointer."
