TRUE LIFE SITUATIONS: THEN I THOUGHT ABOUT YOU

There was a women I had not seen in almost 16 years. Immediately, we greeted each other with hugs and great big hellos! Although I was not really close in an association with her I remembered her and she and recalled our brief intersection in life's pathways. She told me that she had been through a fiery trial of life, and basicially it was still going on nearing its ending. But her words stuck with me as we parted again...."When at my worst of times, she said: "then that's when I thought about you." For she remembered what words I could not recall . and she said most of all she remembered my facial expressions which she preserved as a ray of hope in her memory. She told of how she found one of my books and read my words of poetry which helped gave her confidence and comfort during her trial and storm.

Although you never may know whose lives you may impact, or how or why you could be remembered it is nice to be remembered as a face of hope to someone. The many ways to leave hopeful faces is always in showing faces and hearts of loving kindness and charity. Do you want your face to be remembered as angered, envious, malcious or bitter? That's something too that could be remembered.....It is one of life true situations to show love faces which are not forgotten but, neither are faces that display otherwise. You can choose how you want your face to be remembered by others.

Thank you Jen. I'm not total without inperfections, but I'm always striving and trying to show love and kindness. We can have this effect on those we inter-act with daily; even in just crossing paths we have a face to display that should show God living within us and upon our faces.

@ Miisrael,

That's the great thing about our Lord; He's not looking for perfect people but quite the opposite...imperfect people. I'm more aware of this truth after the passing of the late Whitney. I feel more comfortable being myself with all my many imperfections.

@Jen,

This is certainly true. None of us are without sin. I never wear a proud look of "holier than thou" I am Holy only because of God who makes me Holy by the Holy Spirt...in the Spirit ...and it is God's Spirit which is perfect that gives me opportunity to live perfect unto him. I have imperfections which I know Jesus forgives when my heart is changed to love. Marvelous!
God is Holy! Blessings Jen.
