Southern University Marching Band Receives National Award
The Southern University Marching Band is receiving a national award.
The "Human Jukebox" now has the honor of "Best Marching Band of 2012" from the Center for Historically Black Colleges and Universities media advocacy group.
Southern received the award during a ceremony at Bowie State University in Maryland.
Also, the Blue and Gold Alumni Association was named National Alumni Association of the Year.
