Malcolm X’s Grandson Says Slavery in America is Alive and Well

According to Malcolm X’s grandson El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz , slavery isn’t over in America, it’s just morphed from sharecropper slavery to institutional slavery. Shabazz says prisons in America are the new form of slavery because they disproportionately impact black and brown people.

“In these institutions people are forced to work for pennies on a dollar,” he said Monday in an interview with Press TV.

“There are hundreds of Black Americans who are being murdered in the United States every year with impunity. And police officers serve no time,” he said. “They always get off.”

Shabazz went on to say that African-Americans will continue to be disenfranchised until the system is changed.

There is nothing hard to believe about this absolute truth. Africans were stolen from their continent & brought here for 1 reason only…free labor for whites. Whites never expected slavery to end, and God forbid their lazy asses would have to work for themselves; so when it did they had to concoct other ways to make money off other people’s backs which is how we come to this very real system of institionalized slavery.
When jobs fold & leave from the black community, the drugs & guns are still there…coincidence??? I THINK NOT. The same high-powered whites who are building prisions are the same ones responsible for pumping drugs and guns into black communities. This way they always have free labor for their prisions.
