Amen to that Mom...I just read something in the Los Angeles Times where Rev. Jesse Jackson was comparing the battle for gay marriage to the fight against slavery...I'm not surprised that he is supporting it, but comparing the cause for gay marriage to the battle against slavery is beyond ridiculous.

Jesse talks a good game about how the fight for gay marriage is similar to the fight against slavery, but unlike Minister Farrakhan and Reverend Wright, you will never see Jesse push a good ECONOMIC program that will benefit the empowerment and upliftment of black people. He will speak for hours about cases like Trayvon (and I'm not saying that we should ignore cases like that) but there are more important matters that would benefit us more...
