TripAdvisor, the largest travel site announced that results of it's annual summer travel survey concluded with 1,800 respondents has planning leisure trips topping the charts for summer traveling. The survey said that 80% of travelers are setting goals to take on travel this year. This summer even with higher gas prices will have the vacationers out on the road visiting cities around the United States. The survey stated that 70% of traveling families will take in stays at hotels which offer pools, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Which also up 3% from last year's survey. Since 70% will be traveling in cars the others 21% will take on airfares, even 21% will be willing to drive 10 hours or more to their destinations. As far as spur of moment vacationers the surveyors said that 79% will take on last minute arrangements for a leisure vacation.
