Because they are selfish and lack the fundamental understanding of the importance of having a family of their own.

@ Saint,

There you go... blaming the sistahs for the reasons why Black men choose not to marry. First they marry none Black women because the sistahs ain't sh***t and now they aren't marrying because the sistahs ain't sh***t. Men need to stop blaming us for their short comings.

In my opinion, a man who doesn't want to marry and have a family is a very selfish human being---- period. If he isn't selfish, he'd definitely be married and raising a family. Heck, I'm not even mandating that he marry a sistah.... just get married.

Now that I'm thinking about it... what makes a Black man 'good'? Is it the fact that he has no criminal record or is it the fact that he has no children? Perhaps it the fact that he's clean cut and is working? Who told the who made this documentary that these men he interviewed were Good? Perhaps, these Black men are 'good' in their own MINDS. I beg to differ with this documentary.

Sure, but I think we have to stop pointing the finger at the women when its specifically asking the men why they are choosing to remain single. Why not the men be up front and let the world know the real deal... they don't want the responsibility of a long term commitment. They probably want all the free cookies they can get.
