"ODE TO JOY" -- 6 YEAR OLD PLAYS VIOLIN FOR MICHELLE OBAMA , A TOTALLY DELIGHTFUL MOMENT TO TREASURE
HUFFINGTON POST, June 8, 2012 -- Michelle Obama visited Mom's Apple Pie Company in Occoquan, Va. on Thursday, CBS reports. She received a warm welcome from patrons who hugged her, cheered and lined up to pose for photos (or film the entire visit on their phones).
Among the crowd, was 6-year-old Sydney Trapp who ran to get her violin, and then, showed off her skills by playing "Ode To Joy" for the First Lady. Obama hugged the girl and told her she was "awesome." Of course, in true mom form, she also told Sydney not to leave her violin on the floor, for fear it might get crushed.
