I've heard so many people—especially in the church—express concern over the upcoming generation. "They aren't prepared to lead," these folks complain. "They aren't motivated. They have to constantly be 'mothered.'" There are definitely distinctions with the 20something generation, and yet I've seen great potential in this upcoming generation (I work with several, who are smart cookies, motivated, and eager to learn and step into leadership roles). We have wonderful opportunities to mentor and help shape the 20somethings as they prepare to become the next leaders.
