Health Tip:

Just one cup of fresh carrot juice each day goes a very long way. At 90 calories per cup, carrot juice provides over 500% of the daily recommended intake of Vitamin A and a generous portion of the Vitamin B complex. Carrot juice is also packed with minerals including magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and iron. Carrot juice is effective in detoxing the liver as it promotes removal of excess bile and fat. Moreover, due to its antioxidant properties, carrot juice is the most popular vegetable used in cancer treatment/prevention as it counters cancer-causing free radicals in the body. Don't like the taste? Add fresh mango to enhance the flavor.

Carrot juice doesn't taste like plain carrots, it's very sweet. You can buy it at Kroger's or go to Whole Foods or Total Juice Plus and have them blend it with apple. Not only is it healing, it is revitalizing!
