Result of Minority Thinking Too

Many people in the United States use the Bible and religion to justify the enslavement of a group of people. And, the rest of us swallowed the edits, hook line and sinker. We are even afraid to question the idea because that would be "questioning God." So we just follow along like sheep being led to slaughter.
We must remember that King James commissioned 70 + men to translate the good book into English so that he could go down in history as "the KING who gave the word of God to the English speaking world."They put in the book what they wanted and left out what they wanted. We also must remember that James was a weak king. His kingdom was loosing its power in the world and he needed something to make himself noteworthy.
I would sure like to read the original writings befor they got contaminated. Even a careful reading of King James, one will find many passages that dispute the accepted beliefs taught by most organized religions. If one reads the book and not get caught up in the supernatural aspects of the stories, one will see the historical value of the information. If one checks the information against ancient history, one will find a parallel. The left out material is kept at the Vatican.
