The Vice President needs to explain his comment in order to keep the peace. This type of statement was unnecessary! I can't even imagine Black's being passive enough to be put back into slavery conditions. It is probably going to cause a lot of irrational responses by those that fear slavery the most.

Sister Helen, Biden's remarks were in response to a comment Romney made last week that he was going to unshackle people from government. When Biden made the remark, he was simply saying that Romney will put blacks back in chains by way of them returning to unemployment, and poor healthcare.
Joe Biden was dead on. If more people vote for Romney, it won't just be the blacks being put back in chains, but ALL OF US.
