Okay... good afternoon and Hurricane Sandy continues to batter the East Coast and we are feeling it on Long Island with nearly 1/10 power outages for Long Island residents now.
So we have to deal with more later and the coastal towns of East Rockaway, Rockaway Inlet, Jamaica Inlet, the Southern Parkway towns of Freeport, Lindenhurst will have anticipated major flooding issues. The North Shore town of Bayville, Kings Points all the way to Montauk Point experiencing flooding with high tidal waves.
Jake & Janelle is doing well and my parents besides we both have generators and plenty of fuel for an anticipated loss of power until the LIPA crews can restore the damage. Actually New Hyde Park not to far from us had major trees uprooted and severe outages in the surrounding area. That is the major concern the trees falling on the power lines.
