Dear Mr. Blog KIng:

Wow!!! I am SPEECHLESS!!!

All I can say is thank you so much for your kind words. You are someone who cares about issues--and you are a very vocal advocate for what you believe in. So coming from you, I am deeply moved and totally grateful and humbled to receive your blessing.

You are right about my general approach, policy and my general life philosophy. Down to my core I believe that all humans are brothers and sisters because we come from the same father--the CREATOR of the universe. So I treat everyone as my brother and my sister.

Professionally, I am a veteran teacher--and I see my main job is to enlighten and uplift everyone. So I will not post or write anything unless I believe it will inform, amuse, enlighten or somehow make someone better.

I am also a writer--and if you check my bio here at BIA you will see that I have a powerful interest in black history--I have written one book about it and am working on another.

Even though I am not black, I have two bi-racial grandchildren who I love dearly--so I have a real family interest in the African-American community. I regard it as my family as well.

So, again, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your warm regards.

Offering BLESSINGS AND LOVE to you and your family!!!
Your friend,
Rich

We appreciate you Rich!

If I'm not mistaken, I think my first conversation with you was on a post on "Unity and Christ Consciousness" by Min. Farrakhan, and how that speech changed the suspicions you had of the Muslim community following the 9/11 attacks. You wrote me a long and thoughtful response about how you hope everyone comes to the realization that Farrakhan stands for peace and unity and brotherhood like Dr. King.

I wish you health and peace...and love my friend!

Siebra--that's right. And I treasure that conversation with you because it was real. I learned something from you and I never forgot it. Man...that sure was a long time ago, wasn't it???.

Thank, you Irma...love you!!!

WEll, the most most important book to me right now is my bio of Phillis Wheatley. I have been working on it all day--and just got to finish Chapter 22. That's about 65% of the whole book.

I love how it is coming out. I think it will be big--Phillis Wheatley is an icon. EVerybody knows her name and the fact that she was a slave who wrote poetry. But nobody knows what she was really like. Nobody knows her story.

I would like to change that. My book is called: SNATCH'D FROM AFRIC'S FANCIED HAPPY SEAT: THE GRACE AND GENIUS OF PHILLIS WHEATLEY by Richard Kigel.

Hope you all check out my website: www.younglincoln.com

thank you all for your encouragement! It means so much to me!!!
