Michael Clarke Duncan’s Last Film Opens Friday
The last film featuring the late actor Michael Clarke Duncan is slated to release this Friday, according to BET.com. In the Hive, produced and directed by Robert Townsend, is based on the true story of a North Carolina alternative school for troubled youth.
Duncan plays the role of Mr. Hollis, assistant to the school’s director, Ms. Inez, played by Loretta Devine. Roger Guenveur Smith and Vivica A. Fox also star in the movie open in select theaters Dec. 14.
The beloved Duncan passed away at the age of 54 on Sept. 3, 2012. His 55th birthday would have been Dec. 10. His longtime girlfriend Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth tweeted a message in remembrance: “Today I honor the life and legacy of my hubby Michael Clarke Duncan on his birthday. Today I celebrate our true love.”
