Rihanna Donates $1.75M to Hospital in the Name of Grandma

Rihanna is giving back this holiday season in the name of her grandmother. The singer donated about $1.75 million to the radiotherapy department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados over the weekend to honor her late grandmother, Clara “Dolly” Braithwaite. E! News reports that she gave the gift via the Clara Lionel foundation. “This was all done to save lives or at least extend them,” she said. The donation will assist in the treatment of gynecological cancers.
